2024 GAC Emzoom Touring is new mid-spec GS3 variant in PH
Emzoom GB now called Touring
GAC Motor’s subcompact crossover continues its hot streak of achieving impressive accolades. After receiving a 5-star ASEAN NCAP safety rating, the GS3 Emzoom has been declared as a topnotch vehicle in the 2024 China Automobile Quality rankings.
Now, GAC Motor PH has updated the GS3 Emzoom lineup with the new Emzoom Touring Edition. Positioned as the new and more stylish version of the mid-spec GB variant, the Emzoom Touring is for those who want the R-Style body kit at a more attainable price point.
The Emzoom Touring also features the R-Style’s center-mounted dual exhaust pipes at the back, as well as a special Touring badge. Upon checking the specifications, the Emzoom Touring wears smaller 18-inch alloy wheels compared to the 19-inch sets on the top-spec R-Style.
Inside, the Emzoom Touring gets a blue and black interior with leather wrapping on the steering wheel, a 10.25-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and Android phone integration, rear A/C vents and rear USB charging ports, among others.
As with the other Emzoom models, the Touring variant is powered by the 1.5-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged T-GDI engine that puts out 174 PS and 270 Nm of torque paired to a 7-speed wet-type DCT.
In terms of intelligent features, the Emzoom Touring is equipped with standard cruise control, rear view camera, a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), hill hold control, hill descent control, and electronic parking brake with auto-hold.
The GAC GS3 Emzoom Touring is now available in GAC dealeships and retails for PHP 1,098,000. The crossover is available in the following colors: Graphene Grey, Moonlight Grey, Ivory White, and Superstar Silver.
As with all GAC Motor vehicles, the Emzoom Touring comes with an after sales warranty for the first five years or 150,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.
