Adventure Ready: Why the 2026 Mitsubishi Destinator is the 7-seater for you
When it comes to 7-seaters, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has customers spoiled for choice. For those who want something compact, there's the Xpander. For those who like SUV styling, there's the Xpander Cross. And for those who want the full-on body-on-frame SUV experience, there's the Montero Sport. But for those who prefer a 7-seater crossover with a turbocharged gas engine with plenty of modern features, say no more.

MMPC has just launched its newest turbocharged 7-seater, and it starts at less than PHP 1.3 million. Say hello to the 2026 Mitsubishi Destinator, a cutting-edge 7-seater that blends the versatility & practicality of an MPV with the premium driving feel of a turbocharged SUV.
Destined for customers who want to do more and always ready for adventures, the all-new Mitsubishi Destinator delivers on three key promises – Confidence, Capability, and Prestige.

Starting with its confident looks, the Destinator features a sleek yet commanding look with its SUV-like proportions that's dominated by the brand's signature Dynamic Shield front fascia. The result is a bold yet refined presence that's complemented by the stylish LED daytime running lights and headlights. Adding sophistication to the Destinator's already sleek looks are the 18-inch two-tone alloy wheels, panoramic sunroof, and the T-shaped LED taillights.

Speaking of confidence, the Destinator also gives customers peace of mind when tackling the rough stuff, thanks to its best-in-class ground clearance of 214mm.

When it comes to capability, the Mitsubishi Destinator will not disappoint in the engine department, courtesy of a 1.5L turbocharged four-cylinder engine dubbed the 4B40. It makes 163 PS with 250 Nm of torque and is coupled to a smooth operating CVT that combines power, efficiency, and performance in one refined package.
Giving the Destinator improved capability on any terrain comes from the five selectable drive modes that were inspired by Mitsubishi's rich rally heritage. It has Normal, Wet, Gravel, Mud, and the new Tarmac Mode, which ensures optimal performance and stability while on the road. Aside from being capable on the road, the Mitsubishi Destinator is also capable of delivering comfort for all rows of seats. Not only is it spacious for all seven passengers, but it also has plenty of amenities inside, like a multi-around monitor system for all-around visibility and the Mitsubishi Motors Safety Sensing suite of intelligent driver aids.

With prestige comes redefining everyday comfort and carefully curated premium features. The Destinator delivers in spades thanks to a wide array of amenities like a monolithic display panel that combines a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, and an 8-inch multi-information display. The result is a seamless high-tech cockpit experience.

Passengers will also get to enjoy a luxurious and intuitive cabin experience courtesy of the following: a 64-color LED ambient lighting, an 8-speaker Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium Audio System, seatback tables for the rear passengers (standard across all variants), and a Nanoe X air purification system that ensures the air inside the Destinator is clean.

Making its debut in the Destinator is Mitsubishi Connect, which is the brand's first vehicle in the country to have such a feature. It serves as the Destinator's Connected Car Services feature in the Philippines and gives drivers enhanced safety, convenience, and peace of mind while on the road. Delivering additional confidence while you're on your adventure is the Destinator's five-star safety rating by the ASEAN NCAP.

The Mitsubishi Destinator is available in three variants, which ensures customers can own one that meets their needs and lifestyle. To sweeten the deal, customers may enjoy a special introductory pricing for reservations and vehicle releases made from November 10, 2025, until January 31, 2026, inclusive of the Destinator Adventure Gear merchandise.
